  Applications for Medical Imaging

MiMvista

Register, fuse, and display medical images
The MIM™ image display system enables the operator to easily display and manually overlay tomographic images including PET, MR, SPECT, and CT. MIM maintains original scan volume accuracy while avoiding the time required for pre-calculation of resized image volumes and is faster than methods that require translation and rotation of the entire image volume. The operator aligns image volumes by translation and rotation of the image volumes. A simulated true color overlay displays the merged image volumes by the color summation of the two volumes.

MIStar

Clinical and research tool for multi-modality image analysis
This medical application provides protocols for Dynamic CT, Functional MRI, NM & PET. MIStar® offers several innovative functions and unique models not currently available on the market in addition to a broad spectrum of multi-modality basic and advanced features. MIStar® can be seamlessly integrated with new and existing scanners manufactured by most OEMs and PACS from various vendors.

  Applications for High Performance Computing

FastDL

High performance computing solution
Many professionals rely on IDL to perform complex data analysis and visualization – some becoming too intricate for processing on single workstations. To address this issue and reduce the time required to get results, Tech-X has developed FastDL, a solution that allows scientists and developers to run IDL applications on networked Linux clusters. FastDL is comprised of two independent components that address the varying needs of parallel data analysis and visualization applications. TaskDL and mpiDL.

Corner Cube Environment

Software for visualizing neuroimaging datasets
The Corner Cube Environment (CCE) is a symbolic visualization software package written in IDL which facilitates rapid examination and comparison of activated foci in an anatomical context. Activated foci in functional neuroimaging datasets can be displayed using CCE’s ability to interpret focus locations in Talairach coordinates and to simultaneously display two functional volumes.
