All IDL product documentation is included in the IDL online help system, which is accessible within IDL via the IDL Workbench Help menu or by entering ' ? ' at the IDL prompt.

In addition, the IDL documentation set is provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format in the info directory of the IDL installation DVD, or for download via this page.

The IDL documentation contains hypertext links between the various manuals in the documentation set. If you download only a subset of the complete documentation set, you may find hypertext links that attempt to open files you chose not to download. Acrobat will display a “File not found” error when you click on a link to a file that does not exist on your local system.

No full text search index is provided with the files available on the ITT web site. If you need the full text search feature, request an IDL CD-ROM and either use the IDL online help system or the PDF files included on that disk.
