Noesys includes three award-winning applications: Transform for surface and contour plots, T3D for 3D volume rendering and Plot for 2D graphs. The combined Noesys 2.4 solution provides the technical professional with advanced visualization capabilities and ease-of-use. Noesys makes working with technical data easier than ever before.
- Create stunning 2D/3D visualizations that rival high-end workstation software
- Access a variety of data formats including ASCII, binary, HDF, HDF-EOS, TIFF, netCDF, DTED, GeoTIFF, PICT and more
- Create detailed map projections
- Perform data manipulation with IDL, a powerful built-in programming language
- Organize, subset and manage all of the components of large multi-dimensional HDF files
- Includes Noesys, Transform, T3D and Plot at one low price
Noesys provides raster imaging of data, global map projections, importing of many file types including ASCII, Binary, TIFF, SDTS, DTED, HDF, and the ability to create, edit and organize data using the HDF (Hierarchical Data Format) file format.
Noesys, with special features for learning all you can from HDF-EOS data, allows scientists, researchers and other users to access, edit, organize and visualize large amounts of data. Noesys puts the power to analyze data arrays onto your desktop. Noesys runs on Windows and Macintosh platforms so you don't need expensive, high-end workstations to get the job done.
Noesys gives you a new way to organize, manage and share data. Utilizing HDF's multi-object, cross platform data format, Noesys saves your data, images, palettes, and annotations in one convenient, self-describing file. Just drag-and-drop to move data objects from one file to another for fast subsetting of data components. Plus, you can quickly export data components as text or binary.
If you already use HDF, Noesys is the only desktop program that lets you examine all components of these multi-object files. View HDF contents and, with a double-click, examine, edit and visualize any data object without any programming.
See Into Your Data
Noesys provides point-and-click access to a large number of data sources, instruments and projects. Easily import data with intuitive translators for common and not so common data formats. No more programming just to read your data!
Accessing data between computer platforms has never been easier with HDF and the many import/export features available in Noesys. Researchers can gain insight into their data through instant, point and click visualizations and powerful processing of their data.
- Opens text, binary, HDF, HDF-EOS, netCDF, Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED), SDTS Raster Data, GeoTIFF (Windows only), Bitmap (BMP), PICT (Macintosh only) and TIFF files
- Imports column or matrix data into multidimensional arrays (up to 7D)
- Exports HDF objects to text, binary, HDF, PICT (Mac), BMP and WMF (Windows)
- Export an existing Vgroup filled with attributes and a dataset, or a 2D dataset as an HDF-EOS grid object in a new HDF-EOS file (Windows only)
- Enables viewing and editing all data components in a multi-object HDF file
- Features drag and drop of HDF objects between HDF files
- Allows you to create new HDF objects from the Data menu
- Use the GUI interface to subset datasets and data tables too large to load into memory
- Move data objects in and out of IDL with the click of the mouse
Noesys opens table data, multidimensional arrays up to 7 dimensions, text and numeric attributes, raster images and color palettes. Each data type has a unique editor window to let you view and manipulate data efficiently. Store any combination of these data types in one convenient cross-platform file that lets you keep all of your data, images, annotations, etc. accessible.

The Dataset Editor displays data in a spreadsheet window and lets users move through all dimensions of a dataset. Images of the dataset can be created from any plane.
The Text Editor stores information about HDF files and objects. IDL code can be stored in the Text Editor for use in the IDL command line or executed directly from the Text Editor (Noesys+IDL only); pop-up menus are used to insert function and dataset names at the location of the cursor, saving typing time and reducing the chance for syntax errors and typos.
Noesys gives technical data users a new way to organize and manage data collections. Utilizing HDF's multi-object data format, Noesys allows you save your data, images, color palettes, macros, and annotations in one convenient, self-describing file. Use drag-and-drop to move data objects from one file to another for fast subsetting of data components. Plus, you can quickly export data components to a text or binary file.
